Welcome to Project HOPE

Alliance for Positive Health’s Project HOPE (HIV Outreach, Prevention and Education) strives to prevent HIV/STI infection by serving as a trusted resource for men who have sex with men (MSM). Our site is specifically designed to provide the MSM community with information, options and resources to stay healthy and informed when it comes to sex!

WALK-IN TESTING: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am-12pm, and 1pm-4pm

Here you can find all types of information including info on HIV/AIDS and other STIs. We offer free confidential HIV/STI testing, with regular drop-in hours at our office, 927 Broadway in Albany. If you have a partner(s), you have the option to Test Together. Project HOPE Boyz also test at ROCKS, Waterworks, the River Street Club bathhouse, and other community sites. Check out our testing calendar to see where we’re at. Visit the About Project HOPE page to learn more about us and the services we provide.

Our iSYPHY campaign takes the syphilis conversation online. The guy on the end of a hook-up app could give you more than a good time. Syphilis has many profiles.

Don’t worry, we also have information on anonymous Partner Services on our resource page, should anything, uh, you know, “pop up” down there (or elsewhere) and you’re not looking forward to “making that call” yourself. Happy browsing; feel free to ask us any questions by contacting us.
