What Is It?
Affects both women and men.

Many people have no symptoms
If they appear, symptoms show up within first two weeks after infection; in men a watery, white drip from the penis, burning or pain when peeing, need to pee more often, itching or tickling at base of penis; in women itching, burning or irritation in the vagina, yellow greenish or gray discharge from vagina
If Left Untreated?
You can give it to your sex partners
Uncomfortable symptoms will continue, can cause reproductive harm
Men can develop infections in the prostate gland
How Do I Reduce My Risk?
Properly used, condoms are effective at preventing Trich infection during vaginal sex
By being in an exclusive relationship with one partner; limiting number of sex partners; and choosing a partner who has had no or fewer sex partners.
